# What is Speed Signal AI?

> A daily, end-of-day stock screening and analytics dashboard that organizes 3,000+ US stocks by breakout-setup phase, as a starting point for your own research.

Speed Signal AI is **screening and analytics software**. Every day, after the US market closes, it scans thousands of US stocks and sorts them by where each one sits in the life cycle of a breakout **setup**, so you don't have to scan charts one by one.

Instead of a wall of tickers, you get a short, organized list: names that are quietly tightening up, names starting to move, and names already breaking out, each with the context around it. It helps you see what changed and where to look.

<Note>
  Speed Signal AI is screening and analytics software, not a broker-dealer or investment adviser. Scores, phases, and screening results are data outputs and research candidates, not investment advice, recommendations, trading signals, or a buy list. Always do your own research.
</Note>

## What it does

* **Scans 3,000+ US stocks daily** (Russell 3000, S\&P 500, Nasdaq 100) shortly after the close.
* **Sorts them into four phases** (Coiling, Pre-Ignition, Liftoff, and Below) that describe the current state of each setup.
* **Adds context** to every ticker: a Conviction level, risk flags, sector strength, and a chart.
* **Notifies you** when the names or conditions you care about change, so you don't have to check manually.

The **scoring itself is deterministic and rules-based**: given the same market data, it produces the same result every time. It uses no AI, sentiment, or predictions to rank a ticker.

## What it does not do

<Warning>
  Speed Signal AI helps you organize market data and setup context. It does **not** recommend securities, timing, position size, or trade actions.

  * It does not predict returns or tell you a move will continue.
  * It does not tell you when to buy or sell, or how much.
  * It does not replace your own research or a conversation with a qualified financial advisor.
</Warning>
