General

Speed Signal AI is screening and analytics software. Every day, shortly after the US market closes, it scans 3,000+ US tickers (Russell 3000, S&P 500, and Nasdaq 100) and organizes them by where each one sits in the life cycle of a breakout setup. Results appear in an interactive dashboard with sortable columns, charts, and instant filtering, so you can quickly see the names the system ranks highest, as a starting point for your own research.
No. Speed Signal AI is screening and analytics software provided for educational and informational purposes only. We are not a broker-dealer or a registered investment adviser, and nothing on our platform constitutes a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security. Scores and phases are data outputs, not trading signals or a buy list. Trading involves risk, including possible loss of principal, and past performance does not guarantee future results. Always consult a qualified financial advisor before making investment decisions. For the full disclaimer, see Legal & disclaimer.
Every ticker is evaluated on three pillars. Each pillar is scored from 0 to 100 based on how many of its conditions are present, and the three then combine into a single 0-100 number, which the dashboard surfaces as Conviction NN/100 alongside a phase:
  • Base “Stealth Coil”: volatility contraction, tightness, squeeze detection, trend quality, and pivot proximity.
  • Accumulation “Demand Profile”: relative strength versus the market, money flow, volume dry-up, and sector tailwind.
  • Ignition “Participation Expansion”: volume impulse, early ignition, and candle quality.
Separately, informational risk flags (Extended, Bearish Market Regime, Elevated VIX, Pre-Earnings Run, Anomaly) add context but do not change the number. The scoring is deterministic and rules-based: given the same market data, it produces the same result. There is no AI prediction or sentiment behind it. For the full breakdown, see How scoring works and Phases & Conviction.
Price, volume, and exchange data come from exchange feeds via TradingView, processed once per day after the close. Fundamentals come from FactSet via TradingView (updated quarterly). Earnings dates come from exchange filings, and market context comes from SPY, VIX, and sector benchmark ETFs. The scoring itself runs on our own infrastructure.
Scores refresh once per day, after the US market closes. Everything you see reflects the most recent completed trading session, not live intraday prices. The only live element is the candlestick chart on a ticker’s detail page.

Troubleshooting

First, make sure you’re signed in. Scores load once per day after the US close, so right after a session the newest scan may still be processing; check back a little later. If you’ve tightened the filters on the Signal Board, reset them to widen the results. On weekends and market holidays there’s no new session, so the board shows the last completed one.
Check a few things in Settings → Notification Settings: that the channel you expected (Email, Push, or In-App) is turned on; that you weren’t inside your Quiet Hours; and that you haven’t hit the Max alerts per day cap (email and push are capped, but the in-app bell always logs everything). For push, confirm your browser granted notification permission; for email, check your spam folder. Alerts evaluate on the daily update, not intraday. See Alerts.
Scores update once per day, after the US close, and everything reflects the most recent completed session. If you left a tab open across the daily update, refresh the page to pull the latest scan. No new data appears on weekends or market holidays. See Data coverage.
The board only scans US equities that pass the eligibility filters: price ≥ 2,marketcap2, market cap ≥ 300M, free float > 30%, a minimum average daily dollar-volume, not in a clearly established downtrend, no excessive gap down, and an earnings buffer around confirmed earnings dates. Tickers outside the covered universe (Russell 3000, S&P 500, Nasdaq 100), or ones that fail a filter, won’t appear. For the full eligibility list, see Data coverage.
